To reach Cardiff from Bristol, start by making your way to the Bristol Bus Station located at Marlborough Street, near the city center. You can take a local bus or a short walk to get there. At the bus station, look for the service to Cardiff, which is typically operated by National Express or First Bus. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Upon arrival in Cardiff, you will disembark at the Cardiff Central Bus Station. From there, Museum Ave is about a 15-minute walk. Exit the bus station and head towards the right onto Dumfries Place, then take a left onto Newport Road. Continue straight until you reach a roundabout, and take the first exit onto Museum Avenue.

Train
Begin your journey to Cardiff by heading to Bristol Temple Meads train station. You can take a local bus or a taxi to get there if you are not within walking distance. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for Cardiff Central. Trains to Cardiff run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes, and the journey takes around 50 minutes. When you arrive at Cardiff Central, exit the station and head towards the right onto St Mary Street. Follow this street until you reach the end, then turn left onto Newport Road. Continue walking until you reach the roundabout and take the first exit onto Museum Avenue. The destination will be on your left.

If you are already in Bristol city center, you can enjoy a leisurely stroll to the bus or train stations to begin your journey to Cardiff. However, please note that walking directly to Cardiff is not feasible due to the distance (approximately 44 miles). Instead, make your way to either Bristol Bus Station or Bristol Temple Meads and follow the respective instructions above for bus or train travel to Cardiff.
