If you're traveling by car, start on the A55 road. From Caernarfon, take the A487 heading towards Bangor, then merge onto the A55 towards Chester. Continue on the A55 for approximately 15 miles. Take the exit towards Holywell (A5026). At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A5026 and follow the signs for Greenfield. After about 3 miles, turn right onto Abbey Road, and you will find Basingwerk Abbey at the end of the road. Note that there may be parking available nearby.

To reach Basingwerk Abbey via public transportation, you can take a bus from Caernarfon to Holywell.
