Brewing on site

The brewhouse has maintained an operational microbrewery since 2013. Stainless tanks stand in view of the main bar area, allowing visitors to observe the brewing process during opening hours. Beers produced here appear on the taps and the dedicated craft beer wall that lists rotating options.

Food and drink focus

The kitchen prepares smoked meats and beer-influenced dishes that pair directly with the house brews. Service runs from midday through the evening, with the bar handling both quick pints and full meals in the same space.

Sports and private areas

The Tank Room contains screens for live sport broadcasts. Upstairs rooms are available for private hire and remain separate from the main public areas. These spaces accommodate groups without disrupting the ground-floor bar flow.

Current operation

Following a late-2025 refurbishment the venue now trades as King Street Brewhouse, though some maps and listings still carry the earlier Cambridge Brew House name. Young’s ownership continues, with the site functioning as both a production brewery and a standard city pub.
