Bus
From Cardiff city center, head to the Cardiff Central Bus Station. Take the bus number 120 or 121 towards Pontypridd. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the 'Treforest' stop. Once you exit the bus, walk straight for about 5 minutes, following the signs to Rhondda Heritage Park. The park will be on your left.

Make your way to Cardiff Central Train Station. Purchase a ticket for a train heading to Treherbert or Aberdare. The train ride takes about 30 minutes. Disembark at the 'Treforest' station. Upon exiting the station, turn right and walk along the main road (A4054) for about 10-15 minutes until you reach Rhondda Heritage Park, which will be on your right.

Walking
If you find yourself near the Cardiff Central area, you can take a leisurely walk to Rhondda Heritage Park. Head north towards the River Taff, cross the river via the nearest bridge, and continue along the river path towards Treforest. This scenic walk will take around 1.5 to 2 hours, but be sure to wear comfortable shoes!
