Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are near Cardiff Central Station, exit the station and head towards the main road, which is known as Central Square. Cross over to the pedestrian area, and walk straight ahead. You will see the iconic Cardiff Castle on your right. Continue straight down the road, passing the castle, until you reach the traffic lights at St Mary Street. Turn left onto St Mary Street and continue walking until you reach the junction with The Hayes. Turn right at The Hayes and walk down the street. The Museum of Cardiff is located at The Old Library, on your left side. It will be clearly marked.

  • Bus

    Find the nearest bus stop, and look for a service that goes towards the city center. Buses that stop at St Davids Centre or The Hayes are ideal. Once you board the bus, notify the driver that you are heading to The Hayes. After a short ride, disembark at the stop closest to St Davids Centre. Walk along The Hayes, and you will find the Museum of Cardiff located within The Old Library on your left.

  • Train

    If you are near Cardiff Queen Street Station, exit the station and head towards the main road. Walk straight down towards St Mary Street, where you will see various shops and restaurants.
