Walking
Start at Chester city center, specifically at the Chester Cathedral. From the Cathedral, head south on St. Werburgh Street towards the bus station. Continue onto Gorse St and then take a right onto Northgate Street. Walk until you reach the intersection with the A540. Cross the road and continue straight to the Upton area. Follow signs for Upton and Caughall Road. The Andean Bear is located at the Oil Storage Depot on Caughall Road, which will be on your left.
Public Transport (Bus)
From Chester city center, make your way to the Chester Bus Interchange located near the train station. Take the bus number 1 or 2 towards Upton. The bus will take you along the A540. Request to get off at the Upton stop. Once you disembark, walk towards Caughall Road, which should be nearby. The Andean Bear is located at the Oil Storage Depot on Caughall Road, just a short walk from the bus stop.
Cycling
If you have access to a bike, rent one from a local bike rental shop in Chester. Start at the Chester city center and head towards the A540. Take the cycling path leading towards Upton. Continue along the route until you reach Caughall Road. The Andean Bear is located at the Oil Storage Depot on your left-hand side. Be sure to follow local cycling regulations and safety guidelines.
