Other areas include the cypher room, a 1940s street scene complete with a wartime shopfront and an unexploded bomb replica, and a NAAFI canteen where visitors can enjoy tea at wartime prices. The museum also displays the original Gaumont Kalee Dragon projector used by Winston Churchill to view secret war footage, adding to the authentic immersive experience.

The museum highlights the strategic innovations developed here, including the work of the Western Approaches Tactical Unit (WATU), staffed largely by women, which devised new tactics to counter the U-boat threat.
