Walking
From Chester city center, head towards Northgate Street and walk towards the bus station. You can take any bus heading to Liverpool. Once you arrive in Liverpool, disembark at the Liverpool ONE bus station. From there, walk towards the Albert Dock and then head north on the waterfront until you reach the main road. Cross over to the other side of the road and continue walking straight until you reach William Brown Street. The World Museum will be on your left.

Train
Make your way to Chester Railway Station located in the city center. Purchase a ticket to Liverpool Lime Street station. The train journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Liverpool Lime Street, exit the station and head towards the main exit. Turn left onto Lime Street and continue straight until you reach St George's Hall. From there, take the road to your left onto William Brown Street, and you will find the World Museum on your left.

Locate the bus stop at Chester Bus Station. Take the bus service that heads to Liverpool. The journey will take around an hour, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the main bus terminus in Liverpool, walk towards the main road, and head north on William Brown Street. The World Museum will be located along this street.
