Walking
If you're starting from the famous English Market in the center of Cork, head northwest on Princes Street toward Oliver Plunkett Street. Continue straight to merge onto Patrick Street. Follow this road as it becomes Grand Parade. Continue on Grand Parade until you reach the junction with Washington Street. Turn right onto Washington Street and continue straight until you reach the traffic lights at the junction with St. Patrick's Street. Cross the street and continue straight ahead into Parnell Place. At the next junction, turn left onto O'Connell Street. The Butter Museum is located at O'Connell Square, just a short walk from here.

If you are near the Cork Bus Station on Parnell Place, you can take Bus Route 220 towards Blackrock. Get off at the stop named 'Shandon Bells'. From there, walk back toward the main road and take a left onto O'Connell Street. Continue straight for about 5 minutes, and you will find The Butter Museum located at O'Connell Square.

If you're renting a bicycle, head east from the Cork City Library on Anglesea Street. Follow the path along the River Lee until you reach the bridge at St. Patrick's Street. Cross the bridge and then take a right onto Shandon Street. Cycle straight until you reach the junction with O'Connell Street, then turn left.
