A wonderful private tour with Guy

We had an absolutely fantastic two-hour private tour with Guy around Buckingham Palace and the surrounding area. What made it particularly memorable was that London had the London Marathon happening at the same time, so there were road closures, crowds, and detours throughout our tour. Guy handled all of it effortlessly, adjusting the route on the fly without ever letting it disrupt the experience. Guy was extremely knowledgeable, personable, polite, funny, and genuinely enjoyable to spend time with. We covered an incredible amount of ground — from the arches and parks to the parade grounds, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Parliament, Downing Street, and much more. Along the way, he gave us fascinating context about the history of the Royal Family as well as the evolution of the British government and the places we were seeing. What really stood out was that it never felt like we were simply being given a rehearsed history lesson. Guy was engaging, conversational, and clearly loved sharing his knowledge of London. He was also incredibly flexible when the marathon forced us to make clever detours, and somehow those changes became part of the fun. Our tour with Guy concluded outside Buckingham Palace, where we then continued inside on our own for the self-guided palace visit. The combination worked perfectly. If you have the opportunity to have Guy as your guide, take it. He gave us a terrific introduction to London and made the experience feel personal, interesting, and fun. We would absolutely tour with him again

Beautiful one of kind experience

Gorgeous look behind the scenes with a guide that has history, in depth knowledge and a scene of humor mixed with deep respect for the palace. We saw artwork I had only read about including a lovely Rembrandt. We existed through the main gates past the Buckingham guards and it was truly a one of a kind feeling. The tour is easy walking although the grand staircase might give you pause if you need assistance. But well worth the climb!
