    From Down, head north on the A3 towards Belfast. Continue on the A3 and then take the exit for the M1 motorway towards Edinburgh. Merge onto M8 and follow signs for the A71 towards Livingston. Take the exit for West Calder (B792) and follow the signs. Continue on B792 until you reach Gavieside. The zoo will be on your left. There is parking available on-site, which may incur a fee.
