Little gem
The visit, lasting about 40 minutes, was very interesting. The ship is spread over 4 levels and the panels present explain what life was like on board and provide information on other aspects regarding the ship's period of activity. The lower decks, in my opinion, are the ones that, more than the others, make you immerse yourself in the military life of the 19th-century Royal Navy. The staff is super friendly and I think there is the possibility to book a guided tour. The visit is suitable for families, with children who can have fun looking for little mice around the ship.

Private Tour - Edinburgh to St Andrews, Dunnottar Castle & Dundee
Adventure, golf history, family heritage and overall just fun
This was in late July 2026. We are a family of four - parents and young adults. We wanted to visit St Andrews (for the golf history) and visit Dundee (family ancestry). Adding in Dunnottar Castle was the best added tour as it was our list to see. Our guide, John, was tremendous and put up with our Dundee address search. It was a full day. The castle wasn't crowded but there were people there doing the same thing. Weather with pretty good too. We had a bite to eat at the food stand there too and it was fairly good. St Andrews was a bucket list visit for our golfers. Also the walk around the town of St Andrews was great for its history and the Abbey ruin is beautiful. I highly recommend this private tour!

Edinburgh: Aberdeenshire, Balmoral Castle and the Northeast Coast
Wow wow wow!
Wow! Well these was amazing experience! Not only that we get to see stunnnnninggggg places, drive around this beautiful countryside, and coast; we also had an amazing tour guide! Our guide was Gillian, lovely and warm lady that made really most of this journey!! She brought such a great spirit inside of our group and provide us with so much infos and fun facts! I would strongly advise people to try this one out, east coast is unfairly totally underestimated!
