From Durham city center, head to the bus station located on North Road. Look for the Go North East bus service number 21 towards Houghton-le-Spring. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop for 'Birkdale Drive'. From the bus stop, walk down Birkdale Drive, and Elba Park will be on your right.

Take a train from Durham Railway Station to Houghton-le-Spring. The journey should take about 20 minutes. Upon arrival at Houghton-le-Spring station, exit and walk to the nearest bus stop to catch the Go North East bus number 21 towards Peterlee. Get off at the 'Birkdale Drive' stop. Walk down Birkdale Drive, and Elba Park will be on your right.
