From the city centre of Durham, head towards the bus station located on North Road. Once you reach North Road, take the bus number 56 or 57 towards Newcastle upon Tyne. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at 'New Bridge Street' stop. After alighting, walk west on New Bridge Street W for about 5 minutes. You will see the Laing Art Gallery on your left.

To take a bus, walk to the nearest bus stop in Durham city centre and board the Go North East bus service 56 or 57 towards Newcastle upon Tyne. The bus will take you directly to Newcastle. Once you arrive, get off at the 'New Bridge Street' stop. From there, walk west on New Bridge Street W for about 5 minutes, and you will find Laing Art Gallery on your left side.

From Durham train station, take a train towards Newcastle. The journey lasts about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Newcastle Central Station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop outside. Board a bus (number 56 or 57) heading towards 'New Bridge Street'. Get off at 'New Bridge Street' stop. Walk west on New Bridge Street W for about 5 minutes to reach Laing Art Gallery.
