The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the Staindrop stop. From there, Raby Castle is about a 20-minute walk. Exit the bus and head south on the main road (A688) towards Staindrop. Follow the signs to Raby Castle, which will be on your left.

Start at Durham Train Station and take a train towards Darlington. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Darlington Station, exit and find the bus stop for Arriva buses. You can catch the bus number X1 or X2 toward Staindrop. The bus ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Alight at the Staindrop stop, and from there, Raby Castle is about a 20-minute walk. Head south on the main road (A688) towards Staindrop, following the signs to Raby Castle on your left.
