After crossing the bridge, you'll see the Durham Cathedral on your right. Keep walking straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A691 towards the city center. Continue straight and follow the road until you reach a small park area. Stone Spiral is located in this area, close to the river.

    From Durham train station, exit the station and head towards the city center. Walk straight along the A691 (North Road) until you reach the junction with the A177. Turn left onto the A177 and continue walking until you reach the Elvet Bridge. Cross the bridge and keep walking straight until you arrive at the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the A691, and continue walking until you reach the Stone Spiral located in the park area near the river.
