Walking
Start at Durham Cathedral, a prominent landmark in the city. Exit the cathedral and head towards the river. Walk along the riverbank towards Framwellgate Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the traffic lights at the end of the road. Turn left onto North Road. Follow North Road until you reach the roundabout, and take the second exit onto the A690. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles.
