If you are traveling by car, head towards Prestonpans. Use the A1 road and exit onto the A198 towards Prestonpans. Once in Prestonpans, follow signs for the town center. You can park at local parking facilities near 30 Cross Cottages. From there, it is a short walk to Preston Tower, located at 30 Cross Cottages, EH32 9EJ.

Public Transportation
To reach Preston Tower using public transportation, take a train from Edinburgh Waverley Station to Prestonpans Station. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Prestonpans Station, exit the station and walk north towards the High Street. Follow the High Street until you reach the junction with the A198. Turn left on the A198 and continue until you see signs for 30 Cross Cottages. The tower is a short walk from there.

If you prefer the bus, catch the Lothian Buses number 26 or 44 from Edinburgh city center towards East Lothian. Get off at the Prestonpans stop. From the bus stop, walk towards the High Street and follow the directions as mentioned above, turning left on the A198 towards 30 Cross Cottages.
