If you're starting from the city center (e.g., from Princes Street), head south towards the Mound. Walk down the Mound and take a left onto George IV Bridge. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with South Bridge. Turn right onto South Bridge and follow it until you reach the junction with Nicolson Street. Take a left onto Nicolson Street and walk for a few minutes until you reach the traffic lights at the junction with East Crosscauseway. Cross the road and continue straight; 56 North will be on your left at 2 W Crosscauseway.

From the city center, you can catch a bus from St Andrew Square. Look for buses heading towards Newington (routes 8, 29, or 36). Get off at the 'Newington/West Crosscauseway' stop. From there, walk a short distance down West Crosscauseway; 56 North will be on your right at 2 W Crosscauseway.

Take the tram from any stop on the tram line towards the city center. Get off at the 'York Place' stop. From there, walk south towards the Mound, then follow the walking directions provided above to reach 56 North.
