From Edinburgh Waverley Station, exit onto Market Street. Catch any Lothian Bus number 6, 7, 8 or 10 from the nearby bus stop. The journey will take around 5-10 minutes. Get off at the 'Mound' stop. The Museum on the Mound will be directly ahead as you step off the bus.

Walking
If you are near Edinburgh Waverley Station, exit the station and walk towards the East. Take the stairs or the lift to the top of the station. Turn right onto Market Street, then take a left onto North Bridge. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach The Mound. The Museum on the Mound is located on your left, just across the street from the Scottish National Gallery.

Tram
From any tram stop in central Edinburgh, take the tram towards York Place. Get off at the 'St Andrew Square' stop. From there, walk to the north end of St Andrew Square and head toward North St David Street. Continue straight onto South St David Street, then turn left onto Lothian Road. After about 5 minutes of walking, you will arrive at The Mound. The Museum on the Mound will be on your right.
