    Begin your journey at any tram stop in the city center, such as 'York Place' or 'St Andrew Square'. Take the tram towards 'York Place' and get off at 'Murrayfield Stadium'. From there, transfer to bus number 21 or 42 that goes to Portobello. After about 20 minutes on the bus, get off at 'Portobello Promenade' stop. Walk towards the beach, and Portobello Beach will be in front of you.
