Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Edinburgh Waverley Train Station, exit the station and head towards Market Street. Walk straight along Market Street until you reach the junction with North Bridge. Cross over North Bridge, turn left onto South Bridge and continue straight. After a few minutes, you will reach the High Street (Royal Mile). Continue walking along the Royal Mile, passing St Giles' Cathedral on your right. When you reach the Castle Esplanade, take a right turn and walk up Castlehill. The Scotch Whisky Experience will be on your left at 354 Castlehill.

  • Bus

    From the city centre, you can take a Lothian Bus service (such as the 35 or 36) towards the Grassmarket. Alight at the Grassmarket stop. From there, walk up the hill towards Castlehill. As you ascend, you will see The Scotch Whisky Experience on your left at 354 Castlehill.

  • Tram

    If you are near the Edinburgh Tram line, take the tram towards York Place. Alight at the Princes Street stop. From there, head to the west end of Princes Street and turn onto Lothian Road. Walk uphill until you reach the junction with Castle Street, then turn right. Walk up Castle Street and continue onto Castlehill. The Scotch Whisky Experience will be located on your right at 354 Castlehill.
