Continue on the A12 until you reach the A128. Turn left onto the A128 and the park entrance will be on your left after a short distance. There is parking available at the park, which may incur a small fee.

To reach Thorndon Country Park South via public transport, take a train from your location to West Horndon Station. From London, you can catch a train from Liverpool Street Station to West Horndon. Upon arriving at West Horndon Station, exit the station and walk approximately 1 mile along the A128 towards Brentwood. Alternatively, you can take a local bus that travels along the A128; check local bus schedules for the most convenient route and times.

If you arrive at West Horndon Station, and prefer to walk, head north on Station Road, then turn right onto West Horndon Road. Continue straight until you reach the A128.
