Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards the town of Rayleigh. Use the postcode SS6 7ED in your GPS. From the A127, take the exit at the Rayleigh Weir roundabout onto the A129 towards Rayleigh. Continue straight until you reach the High Street and turn right onto Bellingham Lane. The windmill will be on your left after a short distance. There is limited street parking available nearby, so be prepared to walk a short distance if needed.

• Train

  For those using public transportation, take a train to Rayleigh Station from any major station in Essex. Once you arrive at Rayleigh Station, exit the station and head towards the High Street. You can either walk (about 15 minutes) by heading down the High Street, then turning left onto Bellingham Lane, or catch a local bus that stops near Bellingham Lane. Make sure to check the local bus schedule as it may vary.

• Bus

  If you prefer to take the bus, look for services that run to Rayleigh. The nearest bus stop to Rayleigh Windmill is on Bellingham Lane. Depending on where you are coming from, you might need to transfer at Rayleigh High Street. Once you disembark, walk a short distance along Bellingham Lane, and the windmill will be on your right.
