Dark Chester - Let's take a walk on the dark side
History and hauntings
We had a brilliant time on the Dark Chester Tour yesterday! Our guide is a lecturer at the University and you could really tell, as the tour was packed with fascinating, accurate information without ever feeling overwhelming. The walk itself was manageable and the suggestion to come back after dark was a great touch. Seeing the projections on the ruins afterwards added a whole extra spooky layer to the experience. It was such a good way to see Chester from a different perspective and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys history with a bit of a darker side!

Our second time with the fabulous Gareth celebrating a special birthday
Having previously done the Liverpool food tour and loved it we booked the Chester tour for a special family birthday. Gareth went above and beyond he is so accommodating and knowledgeable we had a really wonderful evening plenty of yummy food and drink in unique venues! What’s not to like thank you again!!!

Best walking tour I've done so far in Britain. Sarah was my guide and she really made exploring Chester special. Very good historical, architectural and political understanding of Chester. Sarah also was super engaging and really made the tour interactive and unforgettable!
