Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Cardiff city center. Take the A48(M) exit towards Cardiff and merge onto the A48. Continue on the A48 until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the A4161, following signs for the city center. After approximately 1 mile, take a left onto Bute Street, then a right onto Assembly Square. Roath Lock is located at Assembly Square, Britannia Quay, Cardiff CF10 4PL. There are parking facilities nearby, but be aware that parking may incur a fee.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  For those using public transport, take a bus from various locations in Glamorgan to Cardiff Central Bus Station. Buses like the X1 or the 25 frequent this route. Once at Cardiff Central, exit the bus station and walk towards Bute Street. From Bute Street, turn right and walk along the road until you reach Assembly Square. Roath Lock will be on your left.   If you prefer to travel by train, catch a train to Cardiff Central Station from any major station in Glamorgan. Upon arriving at Cardiff Central, exit the station and head towards the city center.
