Getting There

  • Bus

    From Glasgow city center, head to the Buchanan Bus Station. Look for the bus service to Killearn (Bus number 18 or 19). The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Killearn, disembark at the Killearn Village stop. From there, it's a 20-minute walk to Glengoyne Distillery. Head south on Main Street, then turn left onto Dumgoyne Road. Follow this road until you reach the distillery.

  • Train and Walk

    Take the train from Glasgow Queen Street Station to Milngavie Station. The train journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Milngavie Station, exit the station and head south to the bus stop on Station Road. Catch a bus towards Killearn (Bus number 18 or 19). Get off at Killearn Village stop. From the bus stop, walk south on Main Street, then turn left onto Dumgoyne Road. Continue walking for about 20 minutes until you reach Glengoyne Distillery.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Glasgow city center directly to Glengoyne Distillery. This will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Just tell the taxi driver the address: Dumgoyne, Killearn, Glasgow G63 9LB.

    For the adventurous, you can walk from the center of Glasgow to Glengoyne Distillery. This is a lengthy walk of about 10 miles and could take around 3-4 hours. Start from George Square and head northeast towards Great Western Road. Follow the A81 (Bearsden Road) and continue until you reach Killearn. Once in Killearn, follow the signs to Dumgoyne, and you will find the distillery.
