Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, make your way towards Gloucester city center. From the M5 motorway, take the exit for A40 towards Gloucester. Continue on A40 and take the A417 towards Gloucester. Follow signs for the city center, and then take the A430. Once you reach the roundabout, take the exit onto London Road (A4019). Hillfield Gardens is located at 101 London Rd, on your left-hand side. There is available parking nearby, but please check for any parking fees.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Hillfield Gardens using public transport, head to the nearest bus station in Gloucester. You can take the number 94 bus from the station, which heads towards Cheltenham. Get off at the stop named 'London Road' which is near the gardens. The gardens are just a short walk from the bus stop, approximately 5 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest times and ticket prices, which typically range from £2-£4 for a one-way journey.

• Walking

  If you're already in the city center and prefer walking, Hillfield Gardens is approximately a 20-minute walk from Gloucester Cathedral. Exit the Cathedral and head south on College Green, then turn left onto Westgate Street. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, where you will take the second exit onto London Road (A4019). Hillfield Gardens will be on your left at 101 London Road. The walk is pleasant and allows you to soak in the architecture and atmosphere of Gloucester.
