From Inverness city center, head to the bus station located on Farraline Park. Look for the bus service heading to Fortrose, which is typically operated by Stagecoach. The bus number you need is either 26 or 27. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride, which will take around 30 minutes. Get off at the Fortrose stop. From there, follow the signs for the Fairy Glen Falls, which is about a 20-minute walk. Head towards the coast, following the signs for Rosemarkie and Fairy Glen. You will walk along a path that leads to the entrance of the falls.

If you prefer to walk, start from the Inverness city center and head towards the River Ness. Follow the riverbank path until you reach the Ness Islands. Continue along the path until you reach the A82 road. Turn left onto the A82 and follow it until you reach the B9161. Turn right and continue straight until you reach Fortrose. This journey will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, so be prepared for a long walk. Once in Fortrose, look for signs directing you to Fairy Glen Falls, which is a short walk from the town center.
