Billy was absolutely amazing…his knowledge of Scottish history is something to behold. He also gave us fantastic recommendations of places to visit and dine while in Inverness. We spent 2 full days with him and both were the best days we had in Scotland. The first was a transfer from Edinburgh to Inverness with stops along the way at waterfalls, The Queens View, and the quaint town of Pilochry. The 2nd day we spent with him was amazing as well we started the day hunting Nessie, Visiting the Fraser Church which was a surprise stop for me as I’m a huge Outlander fan, we visited Beauly for lunch, saw some Hairy Coo’s, ended the evening at the Clava Cairns and Culloden Battle Field. I would highly recommend booking tours with Highlander Private Tours especially if you are looking for something more intimate with just your family and you can take your time exploring. Will definitely book with them again when I visit in the future.

Prior to hiring Highland Discovery Tours, I did my research - by the time I was done, there was no question in my mind that this was the way to go. Andy is a phenomenal driver; has a great sense of humor, and his knowledge about the region is without peer. He drove us from Glasgow to Isle of Skye and then three days later, picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel in Edinburgh. Along the way, we stopped at a variety of locations. We saw the glorious beauty of the Highlands, as well as toured Eilean Donan and Stirling Castles. We also indulged in the best fish and chips. This was our first visit to Scotland and it won’t be our last. When we return, we will definitely employ Highland Discovery Tours. Thank you so very much Andy for making our trip a truly memorable experience.
