As you approach the village of Bridgend, keep an eye out for signs directing you to the A847. Turn onto the A847 and continue for about 5 miles. You will pass through the scenic countryside, and soon you will see a small, unpaved road on your right with a sign for BiIly's Bench. Follow this road for a short distance until you reach the designated parking area near the bench.

For those using public transportation, take the bus from Port Ellen to Bridgend. The bus service operates several times a day, and the journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Bridgend, you will need to walk to BiIly's Bench, which is approximately a 30-minute walk. Head north on the A847 road, following the same route as drivers. Look for the small unpaved road leading to BiIly's Bench on your right. It’s advisable to check the local bus schedule for current times and make sure you plan accordingly, as service may be limited.
