Bronte Country Full Day Tour - Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre

Exceeded all our expectations

Having been on a Beatrix Potter tour with Lake District Tours, we had high hopes for the Bronte tour. Everything exceeded our expectations and we had an exceptional day despite horrendous weather! The moors, Wycoller, the Clergy Daughter's school and most of all, the Bronte Parsonage were all straight out of the novels. Gillian, our guide brought the Brontes to life for us and it was a memorable experience for us all. Despite the weather, the feel of the tour was rather romantic in the mist and natmospheric in the "Wuthering" wind and rain. Go on this tour, you won't be disappointed.

Great tour for Bronte fans

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Gillian and Tim were so kind and informative. She was so knowledgeable about the lives and works of the Brontës, really bringing them to life for us! Despite the damp weather (welcome to the Lake District), overcast skies could not dampen their enthusiasm for the subject matter. Every stop we were regaled with stories of inspirations for the novels, life during the period, details of their lives/loves… It’s clear that a lot of time and effort has been been put into researching the subject matter so we can enjoy such an informative and entertaining excursion!
