Covering 2,200 square meters on the Tower Festival Headland promenade, it features over 160,000 letters spelling out jokes, catchphrases, and tributes to more than 1,000 comedians, many of whom performed in Blackpool. Opened in 2011, this unique installation lies opposite the iconic Blackpool Tower and invites visitors to explore the rich history of British humour through an extraordinary typographic mosaic.
