Bus
From Leeds city centre, head to the main bus station, which is located on Dyer Street. Look for the bus services that head towards Ripon. The 'X70' or 'X71' services are direct routes to Ripon. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride which will take approximately 1 hour. Get off at the Ripon bus station, and from there, it's about a 10-minute walk to Ripon Cathedral. Head east on Fishergate, then turn left onto Minster Road, which will lead you directly to the cathedral.

Train and Walk
Make your way to Leeds Train Station located on New Station Street. Take a train towards Harrogate, which runs frequently throughout the day. The journey will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Harrogate, transfer to a connecting train heading to Ripon. The final leg will take you about 15 minutes. Upon arriving at Ripon railway station, exit the station and walk towards the city centre. It's approximately a 15-minute walk; head along the main road, then turn onto Minster Road, where you will find Ripon Cathedral.

If you are already in Ripon, you can easily walk to Ripon Cathedral from various points in the city. From the Ripon Market Place, head east along Market Place, then take a right onto Minster Road. Continue straight for a few minutes until you see the cathedral on your left. The entire walk should take approximately 10-15 minutes.
