Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by heading to Becketts, Hertford SG14 2AN. Depending on your starting location in Middlesex, you can take the M25 motorway or local roads. Once on the M25, take exit 25 for the A10 towards Hertford. After approximately 10 miles, take the A414 exit towards Hertford. Continue on the A414 until you reach Hertford. Follow signs for SG14 2AN, and you will arrive at Willowmead, which is situated in the Becketts area. Parking may be available nearby, but check local signage for any parking fees.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Willowmead by public transportation, you can take a train from your nearest station in Middlesex to Hertford North station. Tickets vary depending on the distance, but expect to pay around £10-£15 for a single journey. Once you arrive at Hertford North, exit the station and head towards the bus stop. You can take bus number 392 or 300 towards Becketts. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes; make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time. Get off at the nearest stop to Becketts and walk a short distance to Willowmead.

• Walking

  If you are already in Hertford, you can walk to Willowmead from the town center. Head west on Railway Street towards the A414. Cross the road and continue on to Becketts. The walk should take around 20 minutes, covering just over a mile. This is a pleasant walk through the town and provides the opportunity to enjoy the local scenery.
