Car
If you're traveling by car, head out from Nairn on the A96. Continue on the A96 for about 12 miles until you reach the junction for the B9176 towards Alness. Turn onto the B9176 and follow it for about 6 miles. The Dornoch Firth Viewpoint will be on your right-hand side, just past a sign for 'Dornoch Firth Viewpoint'. There is a small parking area where you can stop to enjoy the views.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Nairn to Alness. The Stagecoach bus service typically operates on a regular schedule, but be sure to check the latest timetable. Once you arrive in Alness, you will need to either walk or catch a taxi. The viewpoint is approximately 3 miles from the Alness bus station. A taxi will be the most direct option, and it may cost around £10 for the trip. If you prefer walking, head north on the A9 and then turn onto the B9176 to reach the viewpoint.
