If you are driving, head towards the town of Alness in Sutherland. From Alness town center, follow the A836 road heading northwest. After approximately 2 miles, you will see signs for Fyrish Monument. Turn onto the B9176 road and continue until you reach the Fyrish Monument car park. The parking area is located at the base of the hill leading up to the monument.

For those using public transport, take a bus to Alness. Check local bus schedules for services that run from Inverness to Alness. Once in Alness, you can either walk to Fyrish Monument (which is about a 2-mile hike from the town) or take a taxi from the bus station to the car park at the base of the Fyrish Monument trail.
