Car
If you are driving to Carbisdale Castle from within Ross-shire, take the A9 road heading north. After about 30 miles, take the exit towards Bonar Bridge (A836). Continue on the A836 for about 3 miles until you reach the village of Ardgay. From Ardgay, take the B9176 road towards Culrain. Follow the B9176 for approximately 2 miles, and you will see the signs for Carbisdale Castle. Parking is available on-site.

To reach Carbisdale Castle via public transport, you can take a bus from Inverness to Bonar Bridge. The bus service is operated by Stagecoach and typically takes around 1 hour. Once you arrive at Bonar Bridge, transfer to the local bus service (Service 24) that will take you to Ardgay. From Ardgay, it is about a 2-mile walk to Carbisdale Castle. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as services may be limited, especially on weekends.
