Walking
If you are in the city center, start at the Eldon Square shopping center. Exit onto Northumberland Street and head east. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Blackett Street. Turn right onto Blackett Street and walk until you see the Monument. From there, head towards Grey Street, then continue straight onto New Bridge Street. Follow this road until you reach the roundabout, where you will see the entrance to Blandford Square on your left. Walk into Blandford Square, and the Discovery Museum will be on your right.

Locate the nearest bus stop. You can take any bus that goes towards the city center. Look for buses that have a stop at 'Blandford Square'. Once you get off the bus, walk into Blandford Square, and the Discovery Museum will be directly in front of you.

Metro
Take the Tyne and Wear Metro to 'Haymarket' station. Exit the station and head south on Northumberland Road until you reach the junction with Northumberland Street. Turn left onto Northumberland Street and continue until you reach the Monument. From the Monument, follow the earlier walking directions towards Blandford Square. The museum will be on your right upon entering the square.
