Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the city center, start at Eldon Square. Exit onto Northumberland Street and head north towards the Tyne Bridge. Continue walking until you reach the Quayside area. From here, follow the road along the river until you reach the Gateshead Millennium Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto St. Mary's Place and continue onto Claremont Road until you reach your destination.

    From Newcastle Central Station, take bus number 1 from the bus stop located outside the station. This bus will take you towards the university area. Get off at the 'Claremont Road' stop. Walk back a short distance along Claremont Road, and you will find The Seeing Stone on your left.
