Walking
If you are in the city center of Newcastle upon Tyne, start your journey at the Eldon Square shopping center. Exit onto Northumberland Street and head north. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the A186 (New Bridge Street). Cross the road and continue onto the A186 (Westgate Road). Follow Westgate Road until you reach the junction with the A167(M) trunk road. Here, turn left onto the A167(M) and follow the road until you see signs for Jesmond. You will want to exit onto Jesmond Dene Road. Continue on Jesmond Dene Road which will lead you directly to Freeman Road. As you walk, keep an eye out for the entrance to Paddy Freeman's Park on your right.

Public Transport
Start at the Central Station in Newcastle. Take the Tyne and Wear Metro from Central Station towards Airport. Get off at the Jesmond station. After exiting the station, head east on St. George's Terrace, then take a left onto Osborne Road. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Freeman Road. Turn right onto Freeman Road, and you will find Paddy Freeman's Park ahead on your left.

From the city center, head to the nearest bus stop at Grey Street. Catch the number 1 or 2 bus towards South Shields or Whitley Bay respectively. Inform the driver you would like to get off at the 'Freeman Hospital' stop. After disembarking, walk east along Freeman Road, and Paddy Freeman's Park will be on your left.
