Chalk Hill Brewery, established in 1993 by sailing enthusiasts Bill Thomas, Tiny Little, and David Blake, holds the distinction of being Norwich's oldest independent brewery. Named after the historic Chalk Hill area—now Rosary Road—the brewery operates a custom 15-barrel plant right on-site at the Coach & Horses pub. Over three decades, it has built a loyal following with its permanent and seasonal real ales, supplied to local pubs and festivals. A smaller experimental plant allows for innovative brews, keeping the lineup fresh and exciting.
