From Nottingham city center, head to the Nottingham Broadmarsh Bus Station. Take the 'Transpeak' service, which travels towards Manchester. Make sure to check the schedule for the next bus, as they may not run frequently. After approximately 50 minutes, get off at the 'Stanton in Peak' stop. From there, walk towards Lees Road, following the signs to the Nine Ladies Stone Circle, which is about a 20-minute walk uphill through the village.

Take a train from Nottingham Station to Matlock. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Matlock Station, exit the station and walk to the bus stop on the main road outside the station. Catch the 'Transpeak' bus towards Buxton and get off at 'Stanton in Peak'. After disembarking, follow Lees Road for about 20 minutes on foot to reach the Nine Ladies Stone Circle.
