If you're driving, the journey to Marwick Head is straightforward. From Kirkwall, head southwest on the A964 towards St. Mary's. At the junction, take the A965 towards Orphir. Continue on the A965 until you reach the B9056 junction. Turn left onto the B9056 and follow the signs for Marwick Head. The drive takes about 30 minutes, and there is parking available near the headland.

For those using public transportation, take the Stagecoach bus service (Route 6) from Kirkwall to Stromness. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you reach Stromness, you will need to walk to the Marwick Head, which is around 5 miles away. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from Stromness to Marwick Head if you prefer not to walk.
