Florence Park was gifted to the city of Oxford in 1934 by Councillor F.E. Moss in memory of his sister Florence, a legacy commemorated by a plaque on the original gates. Florence Park is open daily from 8am, with closing times varying seasonally from 4pm in winter to 9pm in summer. The park provides a car park with approximately 50 spaces, accessible from Rymers Lane, with payment by card and phone app. Blue Badge holders enjoy free parking. Public toilets and seating areas are available, and the park is wheelchair-friendly, ensuring accessibility for a wide range of visitors.
