There is limited parking available near the castle.

Start at the Peebles bus station and take the number 62 bus towards Edinburgh. Get off at the Eddleston stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles along the B709 road to reach Horsburgh Castle. Please note that the bus service may have limited schedules, so check the timetable in advance. The walk will take around 30-40 minutes.

If you are already in Peebles, you can walk to Horsburgh Castle. Head southwest towards the A72 and follow the A72 for about 1.5 miles. When you reach the B709 junction, turn left and continue walking for approximately 3 miles.
