Getting There

  If you are driving from the center of Peebles, head southeast on the A703 towards Eshiels. Continue on the A703 for approximately 2 miles. As you approach Eshiels, keep an eye out for signs directing you to the Glentress Forest Lodges. Turn left onto the minor road leading to Eshiels House. The lodges are located at Eshiels House, Peebles EH45 8NA. Parking is available on-site.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transport, start by taking a bus from Peebles town center to Eshiels. Look for the bus service that operates in the direction of Eshiels; the number 62 bus typically serves this route. The journey takes about 15 minutes. After alighting at the Eshiels stop, it is a short walk (approximately 0.5 miles) to Glentress Forest Lodges. Follow the signs towards Eshiels House, and you will reach your destination.

• Walking

  For those who enjoy walking, if you are already in Peebles, you can take a scenic route to Glentress Forest Lodges. Start from the town center and head southeast towards the A703. Follow the path along the river and onto the A703 road, which will lead you towards Eshiels. The walk is approximately 2 miles and offers beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Once you reach Eshiels House, you will find the lodges.
