If you are driving, head towards Selkirk. From the A7, take the exit for Selkirk and follow the signs for Philiphaugh Estate. As you enter Selkirk, turn onto the A708, then take a left onto Philiphaugh Road. Continue on Philiphaugh Road until you reach the Philiphaugh Salmon Viewing Centre, located at Philiphaugh Estate, Selkirk TD7 5LU. There is parking available on-site. Please note that the estate is usually open from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Public Transportation
For those using public transport, take a bus to Selkirk from nearby towns such as Galashiels or Hawick. The bus service is usually provided by Borders Buses. Once you arrive at the Selkirk bus station, exit and head towards the town center. You can either walk (approximately 25 minutes) or take a local taxi to Philiphaugh Estate. If you decide to walk, head down the A708, then take a left onto Philiphaugh Road. The Salmon Viewing Centre will be on your left. Bus fares vary but expect to pay around £3-£5 for a one-way ticket.

Walking from Selkirk
If you're already in Selkirk and prefer to walk, head towards the A708 road. As you walk along the road, enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding countryside. After about 25 minutes of walking, take a left onto Philiphaugh Road. Continue straight, and you'll find the Philiphaugh Salmon Viewing Centre. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the walk can be a bit hilly.
