Train
Start by heading to Sheffield Train Station. From there, take a train to Buxton. Trains run regularly, so check the schedule for the next departure. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Buxton Train Station, exit the station and turn right onto Station Road. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout.

At the roundabout, take the second exit onto A515. Follow this road for about a mile. You will pass a few shops and a small park along the way. After a mile, turn left onto Terrace Road, and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. The Buxton Met Office Weather Station will be located on your left, near the end of Terrace Road.

Alternatively, from Sheffield Interchange, you can take a bus to Buxton. Look for buses heading towards Buxton; they run frequently. The bus journey takes around 50 minutes.
