    From Sheffield city centre, make your way to the bus station at Arundel Gate. Look for the bus service 218 or 240, which goes towards Matlock. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Matlock, get off at the 'Matlock Bath' stop. From there, you can either walk or take a local taxi to the Nine Ladies Stone Circle. If walking, head north on the A6 for about 1.5 miles until you reach Lees Road. Turn right onto Lees Road, and follow it uphill until you see the signs for the stone circle.

  • Train and Walk

    Take the train from Sheffield Station to Matlock Station. Trains run regularly and the journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Matlock Station, exit the station and head north on the A6. Walk for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with Lees Road. Turn right onto Lees Road and continue walking uphill for about half a mile. You will find the Nine Ladies Stone Circle on your left.
